Green Dot - Mobile Banking App Reviews

I had no problems with the old version but now that they updated it I cant access my acct. doesnt recognize my login or password which had never changed. I even tried to change it but it still doesnt let me. Frustrated beyond belief. I need to access past transactions right now!

New update wont let me log back in. Im having to go online to check balances every time its getting real annoying please fix

I never write these things, but Ive been using the green dot card for a long time an this is by far the best the app has ever been! I never have a problem finding my balance or checking my transaction history. I just wanna say thank you green dot for finally getting the app right!

Why have the "slide for balance " if its not gonna update in the background for an ACCURATE amount??!!!!! Thats a bug....officially!!!

The new update is great!

You can only load card through Bank transfer $500 at a time. Then when you do transfer they state within three days funds available....FALSE Every time I transfer funds min of 5 days. I transferred $500 on a Tuesday at 8:30 am. My Bank confirmed withdraw on Wed and still no funds available on Sat. If u call customer service they are clueless and you cant talk to a supervisor. Control Alt Delete.

Ive come to hate trying to deal with greendot on my phone. Not only does the app ONLY give balance info with zero other options (like a way to contact or send a message to GD, or tracking where transfers are) but the website on my phone only works as a mobile site and theres NO option to view as desktop or again no contact link no FAQ link, no forum... Basically check balance and thats it. The app and the mobile site are virtually useless. ...also just have to say, I "bill paid" money to a pay pal account FOUR working days ago and it still hasnt shown up. $100 removed from my card but never delivered. Thank god people dont NEED money to survive in this fast digital age.

The app wont let you log in because it does not recognize security questions answers! App is worthless. Dont waste your time!

I love online shopping but i always have cash so i bought this stupid green dot card and i tried ordering a vest from amazon and i kept declining it then i called the customer service and it was horrible they asked me personal questions like my social security number and address. It is a scam!! just stick to the vanilla visa cards those are safe, very disappointed i lost about 40 dollars.

Everytime I put my login info it says " you need to log in to GreenDot.com to access your account ". Whats the point of having the app?

Lost money because I cannot login. I tried to recover my account information, only to receive an error saying I was on the wrong website. -$14 lost. The whole website is messed up as well as the app, would not recommend.

DO NOT USE OR INQUIRE GREEN DOT SERVICES!!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND RESOURCES!!! I had opened an account with Green Dot. I receive my card in the mail, when I tried to activate it I was told there was no social security number on this account and it was an old account, that it must be closed out. I was PROMISED my $10 check in the mail on Feb 9th. On Feb 10th the had accepted my IRS Federal Refund, ON MY CLOSED ACCOUNT. The IRS and a Green Dot representative had assure me that my refund would be denied to be deposited to this account and Id receive it as a check in the mail from the IRS. Now approx a month after closing my account I am dealing with the issue of waiting another TWO WEEKS on a promised check which I feel I will never receive of my $10 which was suppose to be received a week ago, BUT AS WELL as my Federal Tax Refund that they accepted on my CLOSED ACCOUNT! They have terrible customer service and do not understand this domino effect is due to their wrong doings. Now I must WAIT 2-3 business days for a Coorprate manager to call me about this URGENT matter. I assure you they are not reliable, nor do they take your money as a priority.

Ive had this app for almost a year, it has worked absolutely fine. Now, as Im waiting for my tax refunds I cannot log in through the app. It will not load.

Ive had good luck threw them, as far as the "customer & service". What I dont like is the expensive $$ fee they take out every month, and the $$ fee they also charge you to add/put money on your card. Every time you put money on your card.

Whats the point of the app anymore?!

The app worked great for a while, but now it rarely loads when I try to login.

App doesnt allow me to login it gives me some "try again later" error. I can only login in through safari. Im withdrawing all my money and just sticking to cash.
